As it’s autumn, the season when the trees
lose their leaves, we drew and painted an autumn landscape in order to work the
colours of autumn: the warm colours.
First, we saw some examples of
autumn landscapes in order to have an idea about what to draw. Later we drew
and painted our landscapes with crayons, using warm colours such as orange,
yellow, brown, red… we could also use some cold colours if it’s needed. To
finish the activity, we passed some paint (yellow or orange) over the entire
picture to make it darker and create an effect like the sunrise or the sunset.
